Using the assembly instructions included in your order and with a team of at least 2 people, the handy marked parts mean you will have your log cabin up easy!
If your building is shorter than 2.5m you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or will be placed in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before purchasing a garden building from us.
We will contact you on the morning of your confirmed delivery date by email and/or SMS with a 2-hour delivery time slot. We aim to meet these delivery times but during busy periods, deliveries may take a little longer, however we always work hard to keep delays to a minimum.
All our log cabins are delivered with pressure-impregnated foundation beams, but the remaining timber is untreated. All external timber must be treated after construction and regularly maintained to prevent any rot.
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have added our installation service to your order please be aware that they will require full access to your garden. Our installation team will not bring a building through your home as they are not covered by insurance to enter a customer’s home. For cabins under 25 m² a sharp sand and paving slab base can be used. For larger cabins a concrete base should be used. We always recommend laying a DPC/DPM below the base timbers.
The price of the floorboards is included, as are battens for fixing the floorboards. However, you will need to provide a solid, level base to site the cabin on.
A 50% deposit is required and then full payment is required seven days before delivery of your cabin; this can be paid by Bank transferand PayPal
The cabins are very easy to build, they are built like a giant jigsaw. Each cabin comes with assembly instructions. You must be DIY minded though!
All fixings are supplied with the cabin.
All of our are cabins are double glazed as standard.
Yes, as long as you supply us with a floor plan we can build the cabin to your exact requirements. Please note: bespoke cabins will cost more than an off the shelf design as we need to produce new plans etc.
